LATEST UPDATE-Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy fifth-grade teacher put on leave over nude photo online-SHE LIED TO POLICE ABOUT NUDE PIC

Kinda tough to teach at a Christian school with nude photos floating around online.
WCPO reports a fifth-grade teacher is on administrative leave after school officials said a nude photo of her spread online.

A spokesperson for Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy said the female science teacher was put on leave Tuesday and the "matter is being investigated."

"We have an employee who appears in some photos that have been compromised and made digitally available," the spokesperson said.

A parent of a student at the private Christian university-preparatory school said she and other parents are upset after learning about the nude photo. The school serves children from pre-kindergarten to 12th grade.

"The woman is already a victim," the parent, who asked to remain anonymous, told WCPO. "But this being a Christian school, parents are upset that a teacher is even taking naked pictures and sending them to people -- and...her students are old enough to get online and Google their teacher's name and the photos come up."

A spokesperson for the school on Snider Road said no other details on the case will be released "out of respect for her family's privacy and due to the sensitive nature of the circumstances."

Other reports say the photos appear on a site called MyEx.com, a site that posts pics from disgruntled ex-boyfriends.

UPDATE 12-9-13  Teacher Quits

USA Today-A Christian school teacher placed on paid leave last week after a nude photo of her surfaced on the Internet quit over the weekend, school officials confirmed Monday.
A spokeswoman at Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy's North Campus said the female teacher, whose name was not released, resigned after she was put on leave Dec. 2 after the school received tips about the photo.

"This individual has decided to resign, effective immediately," wrote Jennifer Murphy in an e-mail to The Cincinnati Enquirer

We respect this decision and are thankful for this teacher's ministry while here at CHCA. We also respect this person's right to privacy and expect that others will do so as well. We pray the Lord guides this person and this person's family by His grace and presence as they move on."
