thing is getting more common nowadays.
Usually, ex porn stars are showing up in America’s classrooms. Only to be outed by some sex-crazed boy who
discovers one day that teacher really used to be a porn star. However, this is the first incident I’m come across
of an ex-skin flick gal showing up working at a church.
So, what’s
the big deal?
If she wants
to walk the straight and narrow, then all is forgiven under the blood of
Christ.
A FORMER porn queen has landed a job in the CHURCH working for top
clergymen.
SaucyMelissa Tooke — who ran a £1million blue movie empire and even starred in
X-rated flicks — is now an archdeacon’s administrator.
The
40-year-old blonde kept her seedy past hidden to land the role in her hometown
of Ipswich.
A source
said: “Her bosses had no idea what she used to get up to. It has heaped an
awful lot of embarrassment on the church.”
Melissa —
whose dad is Tory grandee Brian Tooke CBE — was exposed 12 years ago for
running her porn film business.
She made
more than 700 hardcore films — including a starring role in Carrie Potter and
the Philosopher’s Bone — at a rate of one a week.
At the
height of her success she owned SIX houses and drove a £40,000 Mercedes.
But her empire started crashing down when she was charged with making and
distributing the movies without British Board of Film Classification
certificates.
She said at
the time: “I’m not proud of what I do. I certainly wouldn’t watch them at home.
I’m in it for the money, nothing else.”
In her new
role, Melissa — who is the goddaughter of legendary England football manager
Sir Alf Ramsey — assists Dr David Jenkins, Archdeacon of Sudbury, and Ian
Morgan, Archdeacon of Suffolk. Both are one level below the bishop.
A spokesman
for the St Edmundsbury and Ipswich Diocese said: “The diocese does not comment
on any personal or contractual matters about staff.”
Melissa —
who got married in July to Terence Pilbro — refused to comment
