The GOP as I’ve complained about for some time has a
nasty habit of conducting circular firing squads. Its shameful how some in the GOP Establishment
are trashing Romney. He was the
candidate they wanted and this is the way they treat him? It’s a poor reflection that taints the rest
of us who worked hard for his election and want to treat him with the honor and
respect he deserves.
Totally disgusting!
Former senior aides to Mitt Romney have hit back at the
'craven hypocrites' in the Republican party who just days before the election
were clamouring for jobs in a Romney
administration and are now belittling him.
'I'm sure Governor Romney is finding out now who his real
friends are,' a former
adviser told MailOnline.
'There were one or two well-known figures who were late
committing to support him, were the most eager to curry favor when it looked
like we would win and are now out there trashing the governor.
'In politics, when you win you are a genius and when you
lose everyone calls you an idiot. But to see the way certain craven hypocrites
are acting right now really sticks in the craw.'

Gov. and Mrs. Romney, kids and grandkids were at Disneyland today. He looked very refreshed. Mitt didn't need the presidency. The nation needed him. He's better off being a grandpa and enjoying his life than enduring the Washington Stain.
