Conservative bloggers calls for Carbonite customers who are Rush Limbaugh listeners to close their accounts

It’s time to fight fire with fire!

William Jacobson of Legal Insurrection points out that no other advertiser was more closely associated with Rush Limbaugh than Carbonite. However, Carbonite also advertizes on the Ed Schultz radio show, a liberal who regularly calls conservatives “bastards” and who once referred to female conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham a “slut”

Jacobson writes:
“Carbonite has joined the side of those who want to suppress speech. It’s time to take a stand against those advertisers who succumb to the pressure. We should not expect advertisers to take sides, and I would not want Carbonite to stop advertising on the Ed Schultz show. Carbonite should return to its prior, politically neutral position. We need to send a message that we will not acquiesce in the new left-wing tactic of trying to force conservatives off the air by targeting advertisers. Carbonite is the place to start.”

You Rush listeners that signed up with Carbonite, give'em a call Monday morning and tell them you’re taking your business elsewhere.

The Last Tradition is fast becoming one of the most popular political blogs on the net. Don’t miss out on the fun and tell a friend.

DONE!
And I am encouraging all of my friends to do the same.
It must be happening on both sides. Carbonite has disabled both phone and chat support on their website.

What business?
This could be the least meaningful boycott since the great revolt against Fresh Air Suppliers Monthly.
